Management, Production & Team
I usually tend to split my lead’s responsabilities into 3 main categories.
Keeping this in mind helps me then acting on relevant categories with a pre-defined ideal day pattern.
Management
Dealing with the management team, directors team, other departments leads, mails, Jiras and so on is how I usually start the day. Then concentrating on any update as with their connected evaluation through scheduling and budgeting.
Production
If nothing urgent is awaited from the previous category, I spend the entire day dealing with production, prototyping, quality check, meetings.
Team
If the working day passed smoothly, I then tend to prepare documentation, provide training or write feedback. Conflict resolution and evaluation, as team building events are activities I usually check outside of the work place.
